admin Several Health authorities in Newfoundland are seeking Anesthesiologists locums in various`Regional Health Centres. Functioning as a key member of the surgical team, the Anesthetists will be responsible for the provision of anesthetic services to surgical patients. Direct involvement in the care of the patient pre and post-operatively, assuming responsibility for pre-admission anesthesia clinics as well as post-operative pain management. The applicant will be expected to administer epidurals to labor and delivery patients and to work an on-call schedule of 1 in 4, including holidays and weekends. The applicant must be willing to work in a team-based, client-focused care environment.
